Gorgeous and rare Art Deco sterling silver, rhinestone and mother of pearl necklace by Jay Flex. This very hard to find and beautiful piece has 3 MOP medallions that are prong set in a diamond shaped frame with amethyst colored stones and adorn with sterling filigree accents. There are also very pale purple/pink stones along with the purple ones. It has a fold over clasp and measures 15” long. The design is meant to fit closer to the neck so the beautiful Art Deco design will shine. But if you want a bit of added length, a few rings can be added to the clasp. Hallmarked on the back, “Sterling Jay Flex”. Jay Flex was a Canadian company producing sterling and costume jewellery from around the 1930’s to about the early 1960’s in Montreal, Canada. Pieces have become quite collectible as Sterling was not traditionally used in “costume jewelry”. Would be gorgeous for a wedding, prom or any special occasion. Y1
